Motorcyclist crashes into car driven by 16-year-old valet
In Bursa, a motorcyclist crashed into a car driven by a 16-year-old valet exiting a parking lot. The motorcyclist lost his life following the accident, while the 16-year-old valet, who was reportedly working at a wedding hall, was handed over to the Juvenile Bureau teams.
The accident occurred yesterday evening (December 9) at around 10:15 PM on Lefkoşa Street in the Konak neighborhood of Bursa.
Tayfun Zengin (25), riding his motorcycle with license plate 16 BEK 954, crashed into a car with license plate 16 AKF 275 driven by 16-year-old high school junior Ömer Faruk Yıldıztaş, who was exiting the Nilüfer Wedding Hall parking lot and was reportedly working as a valet at the venue.
Following the accident, police teams arrived at the scene.
The prepared report stated that the 16-year-old driver was 'primarily at fault,' while the motorcyclist was 'partially at fault.'
Tayfun Zengin, who was injured in the accident, lost his life at the Uludağ University Hospital where he had been taken.
16-year-old Ömer Faruk Yıldıztaş was handed over to the Juvenile Bureau teams.
It was learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
