Muhittin Böcek hospitalized
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek has been hospitalized ahead of his scheduled testimony tomorrow as part of an ongoing investigation.
According to a report by local news outlet Akdeniz Gerçek, Muhittin Böcek was taken to Antalya City Hospital today at around 3:00 PMby the decision of prison authorities. It was stated that Böcek, who uses22 different medications daily,has been experiencinghealth issuesduring his timein prison.He had been frequently transferred to the hospital due to health issues. It is alleged that this latest transfer was due to a pancreatic condition.It isalleged that this was carried out.
