Müsavat Dervişoğlu slams DEM Party, saying 'They are taking refuge in the government': 'Their leader is a murderer, their spokespeople are degenerate...'

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made statements regarding the agenda at his party's weekly group meeting in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). Dervişoğlu leveled harsh criticisms at the DEM Party, a partner in the second 'opening' process dubbed 'Terror-Free Turkey'.

"For the last two years, we have witnessed a genocide. 95 percent of the Gaza Strip has been razed to the ground. That was not enough; people and children who survived the bombs died of hunger. Now, the calendar for the reconstruction of Gaza and the time to take a share of the rent that will be created is beginning. The architects of the war have paused the genocide for now.

They might boast that they stopped another war by coming together with the snap of a finger and posing for cameras. If you could come together and stop the war, why didn't you do it before? What is happening is merely the new declaration of the Greater Middle East Project.

I will say this to the government; do not occupy or harm this nation once again. Wake up and look at everything through the eyes of the Turkish nation.

Last week, we touched upon the Medium-Term Program, even though it hadn't even been a month since it was announced. The dilemma in which producers are trapped, as well as the inflation under which our nation is groaning, has not been resolved. The ties with the country's people and laborers have been completely severed. Their plans and programs, which have not worked until today, will not work from now on either. My advice to Mehmet Şimşek is to resign before he is fired.

Trust has ended in this country, hope has been exhausted. All of this fuels fear. We are being condemned to the bitter consequences of a great decay. Last month, the person who attacked a police station with a weapon in Balçova, İzmir, was a 16-year-old high school student. He was directed by an Iranian while buying a weapon on the internet. As a state, you cannot guide those children. But an Iranian can lure your children into his dirty web. Because you are busy with someone else's calculations.

In a country where photos with state officials decorate the walls of criminal network headquarters, this government has risen by taking 'this or that' out of being a bad exception and treating it as acceptable and legitimate. It has practically granted a privilege to commit crimes to certain circles. You have released many criminals whose files have turned into encyclopedias of crime, and in their place, you have put whoever objects to you—academics, writers, journalists, mayors—into prisons. Now we are harvesting the poisonous fruits."

Their leader is a murderer, their spokespeople are degenerate, their minds are rented, their souls are sold, their minds are blood, their words are treason, their residence is Qandil, and their compass is Imralı—these are the vile ones.

If you ask them, they would almost say they did democracy for their 50 years of massacres and that they spent the money we earned from drug trafficking for peace.
