Earthquakes continue to occur in various parts of the country recently. Following these earthquakes, seismologists have been issuing consecutive statements.

A 4.3-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Aegean Sea, off the coast of the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale, at 17:56.

The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 9.02 kilometers.

Commenting on the earthquake on his X account, geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür said, "This earthquake occurred on a fault zone likely connected to the same system as the fault bordering the gulf to the north."
