Naci Görür lists 18 provinces at risk of earthquakes one by one
Geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür, who shares important information about earthquakes through his statements, made significant remarks during a program he attended. Adding a new one to his earthquake warnings, Görür this time named 18 provinces and issued a warning.
Prof. Dr. Naci Görür, the first name that comes to mind when earthquakes are mentioned, has this time warned 18 provinces. Explaining the provinces one by one, Görür said, "I regret to say that the fate of these provinces will be like that of Maraş and Hatay." On the other hand, Görür could not hold back his tears while recounting a story from the night of the earthquake.
Following the 11 provinces where a major disaster occurred on the night of February 6, the earthquake that took place in Bursa today has turned eyes back to earthquake experts. Speaking as a guest of Candaş Tolga Işık on Kafa TV, Görür said, "The fate of these provinces living on fault lines, I regret to say, is like that of Maraş and Hatay."
"THE FAULTS BENEATH THEM ARE QUITE POWERFUL"
So which provinces are on the fault line? Görür listed them one by one: Eskişehir, Denizli, Muğla, Erzincan, Kayseri, Tokat, Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Kocaeli, Osmaniye, Bingöl, Konya, Erzurum, Aydın, Balıkesir, Burdur, Manisa, Hakkari...

Regarding these provinces, Görür also stated, "These provinces are living directly on the fault line. The faults beneath them are quite powerful. And they have the capacity to generate earthquakes of magnitude 7 or greater in every city."
Adding to his words, Görür referred to the 18 provinces and said, "If an earthquake occurs there, the damage and loss will be abnormally high."
COULD NOT HOLD BACK HIS TEARS
On the other hand, Naci Görür could not hold back his tears while describing an event he experienced on the night of the earthquake. Görür recounted his moving memory with the following words:
In Adana, we went upon your warnings and talked to the neighbors. We explained the problematic situation in an apartment building to those there. Those in that apartment did not accept it.
The person listening to me says, 'We were well-off, we left there.' Now they say none of those who said no to you are alive.
A group in Erkenek sent me a video. They say, "Professor, we pay our respects to you. You warned us a lot. We did not listen. Now Erkenek is gone."

"I CRIED FOR 4-5 HOURS"
On the day of the earthquake, my phone rang around 6 o'clock. I usually leave my phone on. Because if it rings at an inappropriate hour, it is either the children or an earthquake.
Journalists do not call me at that hour. I got up at that hour and saw someone calling me via video on WhatsApp. I saw a lady.
At first, I didn't quite understand. In a dim light, her hair was messy. It wasn't fully visible, but I saw a girl next to her, her daughter... She says, "Professor, save us." So, imagine, that morning I cried for 4-5 hours without exaggeration.
