Narin's imprisoned uncle brought to the courthouse again: His statement will be retaken
In the investigation into the murder of Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found in Diyarbakır, the imprisoned uncle Salim Güran will have his statement retaken.
A new development has occurred in the investigation into 8-year-old Narin, whose body was found hidden in a sack in a stream bed 19 days after she went missing in Diyarbakır.
The statement of uncle Salim Güran, who was the first to be arrested as part of the investigation and whose DNA was detected in his vehicle, will be retaken. Diyarbakır Bar Association President Nahit Eren had called for Salim Güran's statement to be retaken today.
Diyarbakır Bar Association President Eren shared, "We had emphasized that Salim Güran's statement should be retaken in light of Narin being found dead and the statements taken subsequently. Salim Güran has now been brought to the courthouse and will have his statement taken once again by the prosecutors conducting the investigation."
