Nephews of DEM Party's Ahmet Türk arrested
Three nephews of Ahmet Türk, the DEM Party Co-Mayor of Mardin Metropolitan Municipality, have been arrested on charges of forcing a person they argued with at an entertainment venue into a car, beating him, and leaving him on the side of the road.
On September 12, around 03:00, an argument broke out at an entertainment venue in the Artuklu district of Mardin.
According to allegations, Hüseyin Türk, Hakim Lokman Türk, and Hüseyin Reber Türk, nephews of DEM Party Mardin Metropolitan Municipality Co-Mayor Ahmet Türk, forced S.Ö., with whom they had argued, into a car and beat him.
S.Ö., whom the suspects left injured on the side of the road near Cevizpınarı neighborhood, went to Mardin Training and Research Hospital on his own, obtained a medical report for the assault, and filed a complaint. The suspects were apprehended and taken into custody by teams in a short time.
The suspects, who were determined to be under the influence of alcohol, were arrested by the court to which they were referred following their procedures at the police station. It was learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
