New '20:30' call from CHP: Don't stay silent, make your voice heard!

Protest demonstrations continue following the arrest of CHP's presidential candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

Having concluded the protest in Saraçhane yesterday, the CHP has issued a call to meet today at all district headquarters in Istanbul. In a statement on his social media account, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik called on citizens to support the protest from wherever they are.

Today at 20:30, we will be in front of our CHP district headquarters in all 39 districts.

If you are in a vehicle, join us with your hazard lights and horn,

At home, with your lights,

On the street, with applause,

On your balcony or at your window, with a flag.

Amplify the voice of the people and the righteous.

Every home is Saraçhane!

Every balcony is a banner!

Saraçhane is wherever you are!"
