New department established in 16 ministries: Except for the Ministry of National Defense

With the amendment made to the Presidential Decree on the Presidential Organization, it has been decided to add a new unit named "Department of Emergency and Defense Planning" to the organizational structure of 16 ministries, excluding the Ministry of National Defense.

According to the published decree, the Department of Emergency and Defense Planning will ensure that tasks and procedures within the scope of legislation regarding disasters and emergencies, civil defense, mobilization, and states of war are carried out in coordination with other service units.

The decree provides for the addition of the new department to the central organization of 16 ministries. Excluding the Ministry of National Defense, positions with the title of "Head of the Department of Emergency and Defense Planning" have been established for the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Family and Social Services, Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Ministry of Trade, and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
