It has been reported that new findings have been added to the file regarding Association President Haluk Levent, who was detained as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the Ahbap Association. The allegation that Levent placed high-amount bets using accounts belonging to other individuals has been reflected in the investigation file while his questioning at the police station continues.

QUESTIONING AT THE POLICE STATION CONTINUES

As part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Haluk Levent was detained in Bursa by teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Financial Crimes Investigation Branch on charges of "violating the Law on Associations," "laundering assets derived from crime," and "membership in an organization."

It was learned that Levent's questioning at the police station is ongoing.

BAYERN MUNICH BETTING ALLEGATION ENTERS THE FILE

It was reported that new allegations regarding Haluk Levent were reached during the examinations conducted within the scope of the investigation.

According to the report by İhsan Yalçın, it is claimed that Levent placed millions of liras in bets on Bayern Munich matches using accounts belonging to other individuals.

IT IS CLAIMED THAT THE SAME CHOICE WAS MADE REPEATEDLY

According to the findings in the investigation file, it is alleged that the same choice was consistently made in the bets stated to have been placed through accounts belonging to other people.

It was stated that these findings continue to be evaluated within the scope of the investigation.

DETENTION DECISION FOR 14 MORE SUSPECTS

On the other hand, while the questioning of the 22 suspects detained as part of the investigation continues at the police station, a new operation was carried out under the instruction of the Public Prosecutor's Office.

Simultaneous operations were conducted in Istanbul, Izmir, Kocaeli, and Muğla by teams from the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch.

While 14 suspects were detained in the operations, search, seizure, and arrest procedures were carried out at 4 company addresses stated to belong to the suspects. Digital materials seized during the searches were also confiscated.

STATEMENT FROM MINISTER GÜRLEK

Responding to journalists' questions after the cabinet meeting, Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek stated that there was already a travel ban in place for Haluk Levent.
