New development in the 'insulting the President' trial of Selahattin Demirtaş
The trial of former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, in which he is being tried for 'insulting the President,' has been adjourned.
The 13th hearing of the case, which was formed by merging four files opened against former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş on charges of "insulting the President" due to speeches he made at events between 2013 and 2017, was held in Mersin.
According to the report in T24; Demirtaş attended the hearing via SEGBİS from Edirne Prison, and numerous lawyers as well as DEM Party Mersin MP Ali Bozan were present at the hearing.
The hearing was adjourned until December 6 for the completion of missing procedures.
