New footage from the terror attack in front of the Israeli Consulate: This is how the police neutralized them

An attempted armed attack on the Israeli Consulate, located within the Yapı Kredi Plaza in the Levent neighborhood of Istanbul's Beşiktaş district, was thwarted by security forces. The three terrorists, who arrived with specialized equipment, were neutralized through the intervention of police in the area.

The incident occurred in an area densely populated with business centers. The terrorists intended to enter the consulate building to carry out an attack. However, police teams on duty in the vicinity intervened rapidly. During the minutes-long clash, citizens on Büyükdere Avenue tried to take cover by hiding behind their vehicles.

Footage of the clash between the police and the terrorists has also emerged. It was observed that the terrorists, who were wearing military-style clothing referred to as "tactical" gear, were carrying long-barreled weapons.

As a result of the operation, one of the terrorists was killed at the scene, and two were captured wounded. Two police officers were also injured in the clash.

Davut Gül announced that the injured police officers are not in life-threatening condition.
