New scandal from the AKP era at IMM revealed! They paid 22 million for fake software
It has been revealed that the 'Odoo' software purchased by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) during the AKP administration was fake. It was determined that 22 million liras, calculated at the current exchange rate, were paid for this software.
After the administration of the IMM passed to the CHP, many irregularities were detected during inspections conducted by municipal auditors.
According to the report by Sözcü, 34 files from the AKP era were taken by Ministry of Interior inspectors for examination. One of these files revealed that the 'Odoo' software, purchased in 2017 by the IMM under the administration of Kadir Topbaş for 2 million 45 thousand 791 TL, was fake.
In the examinations conducted during the İmamoğlu era, it was determined that the payments made to Projet Yazılım ve Danışmanlık Şirketi between 2017 and 2020 constituted public loss. However, no action was taken on the file seized by the Ministry of Interior. The 2 million TL payment made at the time, when the dollar exchange rate was 3.5 TL, was equivalent to 584 thousand dollars. This amount reaches 22 million 192 thousand TL when calculated with today's exchange rate.
