In the written statement from the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that "news reports in some media outlets claiming that some individuals detained within the scope of the investigation, primarily Ekrem İmamoğlu, were not given their medications and that doctor examinations were conducted inside the police station do not reflect the truth and constitute misleading information."
The statement indicated that the suspects continued to use their medications while in custody, stating, "This situation is being recorded by law enforcement units. Furthermore, the suspects' doctor examinations are conducted in a private room where no law enforcement officers are present and outside of the police building."
