New step from the CBRT as part of 'normalization'
It has been reported that the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) will reduce the mandatory sale ratio of export proceeds and foreign exchange-earning service revenues to the CBRT from 40 percent to 30 percent.
As the Central Bank's normalization steps continue, the Export Circular and the Invisible Transactions Circular have been updated.
Accordingly, it was stated that as of June 10, the CBRT will reduce the mandatory sale ratio of the portion of export proceeds and foreign exchange-earning service revenues sold to banks to the CBRT from 40 percent to 30 percent.
