News of a martyr from the Claw-Lock operation region
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that Combat Engineer Specialist Sergeant Mehmet Emre Teke, who was wounded as a result of harassment fire by a terrorist organization at a base area in the Claw-Lock operation region, has been martyred.
In a written statement issued by the Ministry of National Defense,
“Our heroic comrade-in-arms, Combat Engineer Specialist Sergeant Mehmet Emre Teke, who was wounded as a result of harassment fire by members of the separatist terrorist organization at one of our base areas in the Claw-Lock operation region on October 9, 2023, and was immediately transferred to the hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions and has been martyred.
We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has plunged us into deep pain and sorrow, and we extend our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation,” the statement read.
