Noise leads to death: Neighbor massacre in Ankara

In the Sincan district of Ankara, 5 people from the same family, including 2 children, were killed over allegations of making noise.

A dispute occurred between neighbors living on the upper and lower floors of the same building on Papatya Street in the Mustafa Kemal neighborhood.

During the incident, which escalated into a fight, 72-year-old T.Ü. shot and killed B.T. (71), H.T. (41), S.T. (40), M.T. (13), and C.T. (11) from the same family with a rifle.

Upon notification by building residents, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

B.T., H.T., M.T., and C.T. died at the scene, while S.T. passed away at the hospital where they were taken.

The suspect, T.Ü., was apprehended by Sincan District Police Department teams along with the rifle used in the incident.

It was noted that the neighbors frequently had disputes due to noise.
