November 24 Teachers' Day celebrated with great enthusiasm in İzmir
November 24 Teachers' Day was celebrated in İzmir with a ceremony held at Cumhuriyet Square. The event, attended by Provincial Director of National Education Ömer Yahşi, was also joined by numerous teachers and students.
The ceremony began in the morning with the laying of a wreath at the Atatürk Monument in Cumhuriyet Square. Provincial Director of National Education Ömer Yahşi and the accompanying teachers placed wreaths at the monument and observed a moment of silence. The National Anthem was then sung.

Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Director of National Education Yahşi drew attention to the role of teachers in shaping society, stating, "Teachers are the most valuable people who shape our future. Thanks to their sacrifices, our youth will reach brighter tomorrows."
Various activities prepared by teachers and students provided emotional moments for the participants at the ceremony. While students recited poems they had written for their teachers, the teachers also gave speeches emphasizing the importance of the teaching profession.

The celebrations continued throughout the day with various events organized in schools. November 24 Teachers' Day provided unforgettable moments for both teachers and students in İzmir, while the dedication of teachers was once again appreciated.
