Number of tourists visiting Turkey and tourism revenue announced: More than 50 million tourists
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy announced the number of tourists who visited Turkey in the January-October 2023 period. The number of tourists in this period recorded an increase compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to Mehmet Nuri Ersoy's statement, the number of tourists who visited Turkey in the January-October 2023 period reached 50.2 million. Minister Ersoy stated that this figure represents an increase of 11.58 percent compared to the same period last year, and also announced that there has been an increase in tourism revenues.
EXPECTED TO REACH 100 BILLION DOLLARS
Minister Ersoy stated that tourism revenue increased by 20 percent this year to 42 billion dollars. However, this revenue remained slightly below the government's annual target of 55.6 billion dollars. Ersoy also noted that efforts are continuing for tourism revenues to reach 100 billion dollars by 2028.
