New details have emerged in the fraud and money laundering investigation in which sisters Bahar and Nihal Candan were detained. In the operation conducted within this scope, a person named İsrafil S. was detained in Kars along with the Nihal and Bahar Candan sisters and brought to Istanbul.

DOCTOR'S NAME LINKED TO THE GANG

Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the teams of the Public Security Branch Office's Fraud Bureau upon the instructions of the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the name of doctor Refik Ersin E., who is alleged to have links to the gang, was reached. It was stated that Refik Ersin E., who is known to be an obstetrician for famous names in Istanbul, is wanted as part of the investigation. It was learned that the doctor, who is alleged to have enabled the defrauding of many people connected to the gang, is abroad.

NUMBER OF COMPLAINANTS INCREASES

According to the allegations, doctor Refik Ersin E., who has a clinic in Istanbul, sold one of the so-called cheap vehicles sold by the gang to an acquaintance named İsrafil S., who was detained in Kars. He then asked İsrafil S. to find buyers in Kars for the vehicles supposedly sold through the fraud method prepared by the gang. It is alleged that İsrafil S., in connection with doctor Refik Ersin E., found customers for the gang and received a percentage from the people he found.

It was learned that the doctor, who is wanted as part of this investigation, is abroad.

Nihal Candan, Bahar Candan, and İsrafil S., whose statements continue to be taken as part of the investigation, will be sent to the courthouse tomorrow.
