Ocak Party Chairman makes 'Fatih Adnan Gülen' remark

Ocak Party Chairman makes 'Fatih Adnan Gülen' remark

Stating that there is no turning back from the March 31 elections, Ocak Party Chairman Kadir Canpolat said, “We have come together so as not to surrender Istanbul to the uninitiated. There is a very big game in Istanbul, and we have seen this game. If İmamoğlu is elected, he will be a candidate for the CHP Chairmanship.

He will surrender Istanbul to the New Welfare Party (YRP) and the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM). He will run for the CHP Chairmanship and leave the Istanbul seat. The YRP and DEM parties are moving under CHP control; there is a secret alliance.

We think that Necmettin Erbakan's son is fighting against Israel. He is posing an obstacle before Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is fighting against Israel. March 31 will be the date when the oppression ends.

I have decided to withdraw my Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral candidate from the race to topple İmamoğlu, who is casting a shadow over Istanbul, Turkey, the Turkish nation, its unity, culture, and integrity. Why should we enter an election we cannot win? Why should we field a candidate in Istanbul and divide our votes as if we were playing into İmamoğlu's hands?” he said.

"I CALL HIM FATİH ADNAN GÜLEN"

Criticizing New Welfare Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan, Kadir Canpolat said, “Necmettin Erbakan—I call him 'Fatih Adnan Gülen' because he has joined forces with the Gülen and Adnan criminal organizations and is posing an obstacle before Turkey. Istanbul is not ownerless; it will position itself in a way that will solve and eliminate this game, this dirty conspiracy. At the ballot box, the Ottoman Hearths (Osmanlı Ocakları), the Ocak Party, and every conscious citizen who knows themselves will never surrender Istanbul to the uninitiated or to the extensions of foreign states.

I believe this with all my heart. In every difficult moment, in every dark night, the Ocak Party, which was founded by the Ottoman Hearths with the slogan 'the shrouded soldier of the shrouded leader,' has shown by withdrawing the candidates it fielded in various provinces of Anatolia that it has adopted the common sense of the nation as its principle, without entering into any bargains and without bowing to any threats, with the desire to carry Turkey to higher points, united and whole with our nation, without posing an obstacle before a growing Turkey.

Thinking of the future of the Turkish nation, we have made this decision today and are in the desire and effort to take our country to a growing, prosperous point,” he said.

"HE HAS PULLED A 'ONE MINUTE' ON OUR PRESIDENT"

Stating that they will support the AKP and People's Alliance Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality candidate Murat Kurum, Kadir Canpolat said, “We were targeting the New Welfare Party, which was clustered within the People's Alliance, back then as well. At that time, we were saying that their relations with Adnan Oktar should be reviewed. We were stating that they were clustered alongside people affiliated with FETÖ, but we saw that the AK Party Headquarters turned a deaf ear to us.

Today, the fact that they have come to the same place as our feelings and thoughts does not make us happy. There is a reality: pay attention to the people you walk the path with. The Chairman of the New Welfare Party, 'Fatih Adnan Gülen,' whose hand was raised by our President at the Presidential Complex, has taken a politically immoral position today with his political stance based on his reputation, as if casting a shadow over our President.

Knowing that he will lose the election, he has pulled a 'one minute' on our President. When our President said 'one minute' to Israel, he was following in the footsteps and line of our teacher Necmettin Erbakan and put Israel in its place. In what spirit and meaning did you do what you did, and now you stand up and say 'one minute' to Erdoğan—people will ask you, are you taking revenge for Israel? Are you going to take revenge for Israel? We will not allow Israel to take revenge. We will not give an opportunity for our country to be divided,” he said.
