Offensive phrases written on CHP election posters

This time, an ugly attack was carried out on the election posters of CHP's Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Bozbey and Nilüfer Mayoral Candidate Özdemir. Offensive phrases were written on the billboards featuring the candidates' photos.

INAPPROPRIATE WORDS WRITTEN ON ELECTION POSTERS

According to the report on enbursa.com, inappropriate words were written with red spray paint on the election posters and billboard advertisements of CHP Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Mustafa Bozbey and CHP Nilüfer Mayoral Candidate Şadi Özdemir.

CHP Provincial Chairman Nihat Yeşiltaş, Mustafa Bozbey, Nilüfer District Chairman Özgür Şahin, and Nilüfer District Mayoral Candidate Şadi Özdemir, who reacted to the incident, held a press conference at the CHP Nilüfer District Building.

"THEY WILL GIVE THEIR ANSWER AT THE BALLOT BOX"

Pointing out that Election Board decisions were not followed, CHP Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Mustafa Bozbey said:

“Every segment has made its decision and is waiting for March 31. Everyone will give their answer to all these actions at the ballot box. We trust the people of Bursa. It saddened us all to encounter such an attack in Nilüfer, where we act without marginalizing anyone. We have to remain calm; we know how to govern by the law, and we will fulfill the requirements of complying with them. I condemn this attack, and the people of Bursa will give more than enough of an answer to this attack on March 31.”

CHP Bursa Provincial Chairman Nihat Yeşiltaş stated, “I am calling on our Governor, primarily, as well as our District Governor, to take action to ensure a peaceful environment during the election process.”

CHP Nilüfer District Chairman Özgür Şahin said, “These attacks are aimed at disrupting the peaceful environment in Nilüfer. We will not be a tool for these attacks.”

Reacting to the attack, CHP Nilüfer Mayoral Candidate Şadi Özdemir also said, “Our people in Nilüfer will give the necessary answer at the ballot box to these types of people who pollute the environment.”
