Oğuzhan Uğur responds to criticism following Haluk Levent investigation

Following the investigation launched into Haluk Levent, the founder of the Ahbap Association, Oğuzhan Uğur, who collaborated with Ahbap during the February 6 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes, has returned to the spotlight. Uğur, the host of Babala TV and a social media influencer, responded to the accusations directed at him on social media for two consecutive days.

In a statement he made on the X platform the day before, Uğur expressed that he was carefully following the allegations on the agenda and that the events needed to be clarified in all their aspects. He stated, "There are serious allegations regarding Haluk Levent that have been reflected in the public eye. We will, of course, follow the process moment by moment. Because each of us had our own labor, effort, and struggle during that period. Whatever the truth is, it must come out, and it must be accounted for down to the last penny. We, like everyone else, are watching for now. As developments occur, we will certainly have a clear comment."

This post by Uğur was found insufficient and unexplanatory by some social media users. Following the increase in criticism, Uğur made another statement. Drawing attention to those who specifically accused him heavily and made direct insults, Uğur said: "There is a team that is openly cursing at me. Not those who are criticizing, but those who are directly cursing. They have quite forgotten to delete their tweets supporting Ahbap. I think you should delete them. Then you can curse. Because no insult can exceed the feeling of betrayal I am experiencing."

Uğur reiterated that he is in favor of transparently monitoring aid activities and that any irregularities, if they exist, must be uncovered. Stating, "We will pursue the truth," Oğuzhan Uğur noted that he would share a more detailed assessment with the public once the process is complete.
