One of the demands of PKK terrorist leader Öcalan has been revealed: He wants to get married

Terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan, who has been serving an aggravated life sentence in İmralı since 1999, continues to remain on the agenda.

The repercussions of the steps taken and calls made by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli at the start of the new legislative year of the Turkish Grand National Assembly are gaining a new dimension every day. The DEM Party delegation that visited İmralı shared Öcalan's message with the public. At this latest stage, the issue of Öcalan's marriage is on the agenda.

STIRRED UP THE PARLIAMENT

The Turkish Grand National Assembly was quite active today. This is because DEM Party deputies Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Pervin Buldan, who visited İmralı Prison in recent days, continued their tour of visits to political parties in the Parliament. These meetings, held following the DEM Party's visit with Öcalan, were closely monitored. In the coming days, both contacts will continue and all eyes and ears will be on statements regarding the process.

7-POINT MESSAGE

Following Önder and Buldan's visit to İmralı, Öcalan's message was shared with the public. The statement included the following messages in 7 points:

I possess the competence and determination to provide the necessary positive contribution to the new paradigm supported by Mr. Bahçeli and Mr. Erdoğan.

The delegation will share this approach of mine with both the state and political circles. In light of these, I am ready to take the necessary positive steps and make the call.

All these efforts of ours will carry the country to the level it deserves and will also serve as a very valuable guide for a democratic transformation.

This is a time for peace, democracy, and brotherhood for Turkey and the region.

Strengthening Turkish-Kurdish brotherhood again is not only a historical responsibility but has also gained a fate-determining importance and urgency for all peoples.

For the success of the process, it is essential that all political circles in Turkey take initiative, act constructively, and provide positive contributions without getting caught up in narrow and short-term calculations. One of the most important platforms for these contributions will undoubtedly be the TBMM.

The events in Gaza and Syria have shown that the solution to this problem, which is being attempted to be turned into a gangrene through external interventions, can no longer be postponed.

The contributions and suggestions of the opposition are also valuable in order to bring a study proportional to the seriousness of this matter to success.

CLAIM THAT TERRORIST LEADER ÖCALAN WANTS TO GET MARRIED

A striking claim was circulating in Ankara's political circles today. TGRT Haber Ankara Representative Fatih Atik, who brought the claim that Öcalan 'wants to get married' to the agenda, said, 'One of İmralı's demands is to build a new life, and he wants to be released to house arrest and get married.' It is also being discussed that Öcalan has shared with state officials that he 'wants to make a fresh start in life.'
