Operation against the Daltonlar criminal organization in 5 provinces

As part of an investigation initiated in the Seydikemer district of Muğla, action was taken following meticulous work conducted against an organized crime group. Under the supervision of the Seydikemer Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the Muğla Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime teams launched a significant operation on May 12.

It was determined that the suspects were involved in serious crimes such as "establishing an armed organization for the purpose of committing crimes," "qualified robbery," "damaging property with weapons," "attempted intentional homicide," and "threats."

As a result of technical and physical surveillance, simultaneous raids were carried out in Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, and Şanlıurfa in addition to Muğla. While 12 suspects were taken into custody, various pieces of criminal evidence were seized during searches conducted at the suspects' addresses.

The suspects, whose statements were taken by the gendarmerie during the investigation process, were referred to the courthouse under heavy security measures. Of the suspects brought before the court, 10 were arrested and sent to prison. The other two individuals were released under judicial control conditions.
