Operation against the Daltonlar gang
A major blow was dealt to the organized crime group known publicly as the 'Daltonlar' in a simultaneous operation conducted across five provinces, resulting in the arrest of 12 individuals.
In operations coordinated by the Muğla Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, individuals alleged to be affiliated with the 'Daltonlar' group, described as an armed organized crime organization, were caught on the radar of security forces. Simultaneous raids were carried out by gendarmerie teams at designated locations in Istanbul, Ankara, Şanlıurfa, and Antalya, as well as in Muğla.
A total of 12 suspects were detained as part of this operation. It was stated that proceedings have been initiated against the suspects for numerous allegations, primarily including establishing an armed criminal organization, extortion, threats, property damage, and attempted intentional homicide. Evidence suggesting that the captured individuals have been involved in similar crimes in the past is being evaluated by security units.
On the other hand, the statement made by the gendarmerie reported that efforts are ongoing to capture 11 suspects who are still at large. Security forces emphasized that the investigation is continuing meticulously with the aim of completely dismantling the criminal organization in question.
It was reported that the interrogations of the detained individuals are continuing at the gendarmerie and that the judicial proceedings are aimed to be concluded in a short time.
