Operation in 18 provinces: 1 ton 521 kilograms of drugs seized

The provincial gendarmerie commands of Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa, Antalya, Bingöl, Kocaeli, Kırklareli, Sakarya, Manisa, Edirne, Adana, Sinop, Karabük, Isparta, Mardin, Iğdır, Erzurum, Batman, and Tekirdağ conducted the Narkoçelik-33 operation against drug manufacturers and dealers.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya reported that within the scope of the operation, 1 ton 521 kilograms of drugs, 11 million 936 thousand 886 cannabis and skunk plants, and 4 thousand 544 drug pills were seized, and that out of the 63 suspects apprehended, 46 were arrested and judicial control measures were imposed on 1.
