Operations against terrorist organization in 19 provinces: 49 suspects apprehended

49 people were apprehended in the Bozdoğan-25 operations conducted by the Gendarmerie against the separatist terrorist organization across 19 provinces.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya stated in a post on his social media account that the operations were carried out in Istanbul, Adana, Şanlıurfa, Şırnak, Ağrı, Batman, Bilecik, Erzurum, Düzce, Edirne, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Kocaeli, Manisa, Muş, Samsun, and Siirt, under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, the Gendarmerie General Command, the Police Counter-Terrorism Department, and the Intelligence Department, with the aim of preventing the activities and financial resources of terrorist organizations.

Announcing that 49 suspects were apprehended in the "Bozdoğan-25" operations, Yerlikaya reported that it was determined the suspects had committed the crimes of "spreading terrorist organization propaganda via social media accounts," "being a member of a terrorist organization," and "aiding and abetting a terrorist organization."
