According to a report by Toygun Atilla from Patronlar Dünyası, Hafize Gaye Erkan is vacationing with her husband Batur Biçer and her son Aslan Selim at the luxury hotel Four Seasons, which overlooks the Bosphorus.

While in office, former CBRT Governor Erkan had stated in a remark, "Could Istanbul be more expensive than Manhattan? We couldn't find a house in Istanbul. It's terribly expensive. We moved in with my parents, we are staying with them."
