The 7th Chairman of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, made statements regarding the current agenda.

Answering questions from Armağan Çağlayan on the Sorgusuz Sualsiz program on Ekol TV, Kılıçdaroğlu evaluated many topics on the agenda. 

"OUR SIX ARROWS ARE NOT ORDINARY SIX ARROWS"

Evaluating the logo debates in the CHP, Kılıçdaroğlu stated, "Our six arrows are not ordinary six arrows. Our party is the party that founded this state. We stand for honesty, morality, and virtue. We are people of faith. But we do not make our faith a matter of politics and votes. We do not sleep with a full stomach while our neighbor is hungry. We need to explain and convey this to the masses. We have not done this."

"IF A DUTY IS ASSIGNED, THEN I WILL THINK ABOUT IT"

In response to the question 'Will you be a candidate again?', Kılıçdaroğlu replied, "When I entered parliament, I had no intention of becoming chairman. I became chairman because the delegates wanted it. If the delegates say, 'You need to come, my friend,' and assign me a duty, then I will think about it. The responsibility of the chairmanship is great; it is not easy. I want to stay out of the chairmanship debates."

"WE ARE THE OPPOSITION! WHAT DOES NORMALIZATION MEAN?"

Kılıçdaroğlu reacted to the 'softening' period in politics following the consecutive meetings between AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and CHP leader Özgür Özel after the March 31 Local Elections, saying:

"We are the opposition. What does normalization mean? You will slam your hand on the table if necessary. Did we go and beg Erdoğan? We obtained the bonus for retirees by fighting for it. Did we go and ask Erdoğan, 'Sir, would you grant a 3600 supplementary indicator?' Did we ask for the EYT (early retirement) beneficiaries? NGOs are one thing, the main opposition party is another. The laws define us as an opposition party. What kind of softening? Isn't the country in a ring of fire? Go ahead and look. Ask a retiree, 'Can you make ends meet?' The struggle to seek one's rights is a struggle for justice. If you wage this struggle, you have fulfilled your duty politically. You will make it happen; that is what politics is. Not by asking for favors.

Why would I engage in softening with a man who robs the state? What would I agree on with those who handed this country over to the 'gang of five'?"

Kılıçdaroğlu confirmed the claim brought up by journalist Can Ataklı that “Erdoğan sent an intermediary to meet with Kılıçdaroğlu.”

Stating that there was no direct meeting request from Erdoğan, Kılıçdaroğlu said, “But I said I would not accept it if there were. This offer came through someone. I did not find it appropriate and expressed that I would not meet.”

The money collected from the lower-income group goes to a handful of rich people in the upper group. The man who said, "There is a religious decree (nas), I will not allow interest," is now giving the world's highest interest rate. They have no religion or faith. They work for a handful of gangs. It doesn't work if you see the state as an organ to be robbed. Kemal Tahir says "Mother State." The state is an organ that serves society. They are also taking all their assets abroad. The person who makes this state be robbed is the man sitting in the palace. He is comfortable in the palace. He forgot about hunger and poverty. There is no such thing there.

Where is the morality of the palace and its cronies? The gentleman's duty is to corrupt morality. We know this. He himself says that fraud was committed. God makes him say it.

CRITICISMS OF SHIFTING THE PARTY TO THE RIGHT
