Özgür Çelik announces CHP's new rally location in Istanbul
The CHP continues its rallies organized under the slogan "Defending the National Will." CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik has announced the location for the next gathering in Istanbul.
The new stop in Istanbul for the "Defending the National Will" rallies, which the CHP has been holding weekly following the arrest of its presidential candidate and Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu along with several other mayors, has been clarified.
The rallies, which began following the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) and the detention of CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu on March 19, 2025, continue in various districts across the city.
NEXT RALLY LOCATION: ÇEKMEKÖY
CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik announced in a post on his social media account that the next rally will be held in Çekmeköy on Wednesday, January 21, at 19:30.
Çelik's post is as follows:
