Özgür Çelik issues call for CHP's anniversary: Long live CHP

The 102nd anniversary of the Republican People's Party (CHP) will be celebrated tomorrow (Tuesday, September 9) at the Taksim Republic Monument.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel will also attend the ceremony, which will begin at 14:00.

In his invitation, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik stated, "For us, the most sacred duty is to protect the legacy of our Ancestor, who gifted us the Republic and the Republican People's Party while a death warrant hung around his neck."

"We will celebrate the founding of our 102-year-old plane tree, our ancestral home, which our Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk bequeathed to us by saying, 'I have two great works; one is the Republic of Turkey, and the other is the Republican People's Party,' with the participation of our Chairman Özgür Özel.
