Özgür Özel calls for Güvenpark: Preparations for Kılıçdaroğlu at CHP Headquarters

The Republican People's Party (CHP) will hold holiday celebration events at two different locations in Ankara today. In programs closely followed by the party base and the public, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Özgür Özel will meet with party members at separate addresses.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was 'brought back' to the CHP Chairmanship by a decision of absolute nullity, will attend the holiday celebration program to be held at the CHP Headquarters, while the elected chairman of the CHP, Özgür Özel, will address citizens at the event in front of the Ankara Provincial Presidency.

KILIÇDAROĞLU'S STATEMENTS ARE EXPECTED

Kılıçdaroğlu, who is expected to make a speech at the CHP Headquarters, had previously stated in a statement that he would share new information with the public.

Kılıçdaroğlu had used the expressions, "I will explain many details that you do not yet know when I meet with the public," and also said, "I would not have told you at all if the court decision had not been issued. I have to share all the facts with my people."

Following these statements, all eyes have turned to the messages Kılıçdaroğlu will give today.

HOLIDAY CALL FROM ÖZEL

Özgür Özel, on the other hand, will meet with citizens within the scope of the program to be held in front of the Ankara Provincial Presidency.

In his call regarding the event, Özel used the expressions, "We will not surrender this country to the self-interest calculations of a handful of people. We are together, shoulder to shoulder, in front of our Ankara provincial presidency."

Inviting citizens to the program, Özel said, "We are waiting for everyone to celebrate the holiday."

CHP RESPONDS TO RALLY DISCUSSIONS

On the other hand, the CHP made a statement regarding some allegations made about the event that Özgür Özel will hold in Ankara.

In the written statement made by the party, it was stated, "The CHP administration has no application to the Ankara Governorship for the banning of the rally to be held in Güvenpark. The Governorship asked whether the march calls to be made by various district organizations across the province were under the instruction of the CHP administration, and the CHP Headquarters shared the information that there was no such call. There is no request or application for a ban."

PREPARATIONS ARE BEING COMPLETED AT HEADQUARTERS

Preparations are continuing at the party building before the program where Kılıçdaroğlu will come to the headquarters for the first time after being reinstated to the CHP Chairmanship by a court decision.

The headquarters building and its surroundings were decorated with CHP flags for the holiday celebration event. A banner featuring a photograph of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu with the words "Now is the time for purification" was hung on the exterior of the building.

A stage, giant screens, and sound systems were set up in the program area. A banner with the words "No matter how high the mountains are, the sunrise cannot be prevented" was placed in the garden section.
