CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was discharged today following lens replacement surgery on his eyes. In a statement regarding Özel's health, the CHP said, "Özel's surgeries were successful, his health is good, and he has been discharged."
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel underwent vocal cord surgery on April 5, and lens replacement surgery on his eyes yesterday and today. The statement from the CHP regarding Özel's health is as follows:
"Republican People's Party Chairman Mr. Özgür Özel underwent a scheduled vocal cord operation on April 5, and lens replacement surgery on his eyes on April 7 and 8. His surgeries were successful, his health is good, and he has been discharged."
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who underwent vocal cord surgery the day before yesterday and visited the YSK today, has now undergone an eye operation.
According to a report in T24, it was learned that Özel underwent cataract surgery and had lenses implanted in his eyes to improve his vision. The surgery at Dünya Göz Hospital was performed by CHP Ankara Deputy Murat Emir.
