CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had made assessments regarding the process to be followed after a possible absolute nullity ruling. Speaking on a program he attended on Halk TV, Özel stated that their primary goal was not to establish a new political entity, but to take back the management of the CHP.

In his statement, Özel used the following expressions: “We will do what we must if we are left helpless, but our basic motivation is not to establish a party or anything like that. Our basic motivation is to take our party back. To take our party back, to take our country back. That is how I look at it.”

The CHP leader also mentioned that work was being carried out on an existing political party or a structure that could be newly established, while describing this as a “doomsday scenario.”

"THERE ARE 2 PARTIES, ONE IS READY"

Nefes columnist Deniz Zeyrek brought the latest developments regarding the scenario in question to his column.

Zeyrek stated, “The new party is ready, Özgür Özel and his team have made that backup. There are two parties; one is a ready-made party, the other they will establish anew. There is one party that has earned the right to enter elections.”

CLAIM OF PREPARATIONS IN ANKARA

In his article titled “Two parties will be established, the backup is ready,” Deniz Zeyrek included the following assessments:

“I spoke with names close to Özgür Özel, and they said, ‘It is ready. The party issue is complete, that matter is solved.’ They rented two buildings in Ankara. One is being prepared for the party to be established, and the other for the ready-made party. One party building is on the Çukurambar side, and the other is in Mustafa Kemal Neighborhood, the new favorite of political parties. The Future Party and the IYI Party are there. A politician's greatest capital is the support they receive from the public. Mr. Kemal does not have that capital right now, but the other side does. The nullity process has increased that capital for Özgür Özel's side, and it continues to grow.”
