Özgür Özel reveals the vote share of the Kılıçdaroğlu-led CHP for the first time! 'In the early days...'

Speaking to journalist Fatih Altaylı, CHP's elected Chairman Özgür Özel commented on the election polls conducted following the absolute nullity ruling, stating, "In the early days, citizens did not quite understand the situation, and the rate of those saying 'yes' to the question of whether they would vote for a Kılıçdaroğlu-led CHP in polls was coming out at around 5-6 percent. Now the situation has become even more dire. As the situation is understood, the rate of those voting for a Kılıçdaroğlu-led CHP has fallen to 1 percent."

Özgür Özel reveals the vote share of the Kılıçdaroğlu-led CHP for the first time! 'In the early days...'

Following the court's ruling of absolute nullity regarding the 38th Ordinary Congress of the Republican People's Party (CHP), which Özgür Özel had won, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who lost the election, was brought to the head of the party.

While the absolute nullity crisis in the CHP continues, public opinion research companies have also accelerated their polling efforts.

Journalist Fatih Altaylı carried the interview he conducted with the CHP's elected Chairman Özgür Özel following the nullity ruling to his column.

Altaylı, who asked Özel about the vote share of the Kılıçdaroğlu-led CHP during the interview, reported that Özel told him they did not commission polls, but that companies called him saying Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu wanted them to conduct polls.

Özel stated, "Since he cannot go out to the squares or hold rallies, it is clear he will spend the party's money on these things. He will have public opinion research conducted. He is calling advertisers and asking for campaign suggestions to improve his image."

Stating that the vote share of the Kılıçdaroğlu-led CHP has fallen to 1 percent, Özel noted the following in the interview:

"In the early days, citizens did not quite understand the situation, and the rate of those saying 'yes' to the question of whether they would vote for a Kılıçdaroğlu-led CHP in polls was coming out at around 5-6 percent. Now the situation has become even more dire. As the situation is understood, the rate of those voting for a Kılıçdaroğlu-led CHP has fallen to 1 percent. Can you imagine!"

When we aspired to manage this party, we said: 'Our vote shares fell to 13 percent. There is resentment among the voters. We cannot convince the voters without a change in management,' and we carried the party we took over at 13 percent to 38 percent. In the first election. And we were still the 1st party. Now they have managed to lower this again. The AK Party could not have done this."
