Özgür Özel speaks at Şişli rally: From now on, politics will not follow the line drawn by Erdoğan, but the path you walk before us

CHP İstanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik had announced that the major gathering would take place at 20:30 in front of the Şişli Municipality building.

In a statement on his social media account, Çelik said, "Our nation is protecting its will and the mayors it elected with its honest votes. We are in Şişli with our Chairman, Mr. Özgür Özel. Either all together or none of us."

Extensive security measures were taken in front of the municipal building ahead of the rally organized by the CHP in front of the Şişli Municipality.

Citizens began marching toward the municipality from all directions. Citizens gathered in front of the Şişli Municipality.

MESSAGE FROM RESUL EMRAH ŞAHAN READ

CHP İstanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik made the following remarks in his speech at the rally:

"I have come here to read the messages of our Şişli Mayor and our presidential candidate. I spoke with our very dear Mahir Polat just now. He conveyed his greetings to you all.

Resul Emrah Şahan says: 'I am speaking to you all from the Silivri dungeon. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk first set out from Şişli. Our Chairman will be in Samsun. What they could not calculate is the fact that we are all Mustafa Kemal.

You are the owners of this beautiful city, this unique country. The Grand National Assembly of Turkey passes laws on your behalf. Courts make decisions on your behalf.
