Özgür Özel visits family of Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi ahead of trial
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel visited the family of the murdered Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi ahead of the first hearing to be held tomorrow.
CHP leader Özgür Özel, accompanied by a delegation, visited the family of 14-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who was murdered in January.
Özel, who made the visit ahead of the murder trial's first hearing tomorrow, did not make any statement afterward.
14-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, a student at the Italian High School, was subjected to a knife attack at the Kadıköy Tuesday Market, where he had gone with his friends on January 24. Minguzzi lost his 14-day battle for life. The two juvenile suspects arrested in connection with the murder, for which the first hearing will be held tomorrow, are being tried with a request for 18 to 24 years of imprisonment each.
