Paid military service fees to change in July: Ministry of National Defense issues 'June 30 is the last day' warning

The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has made an important announcement regarding the increase in paid military service fees, which closely concerns conscripts who will be serving in the military. The Ministry stated that the current fee policy will be updated as of July 1 and announced a critical date for citizens planning to apply to ensure they do not lose their rights.

In the official statement, it was emphasized that in accordance with the Conscription Law, the amounts for paid military service and additional fees will be renewed at the beginning of July in parallel with the change in the civil servant monthly salary coefficient.

LAST DAY FOR APPLICATION AND PAYMENT IS JUNE 30

In the written statement published by the Ministry, it was noted that conscripts who wish to benefit from the current price advantage should act quickly, and the following statements were included:

"The amount of the fee and additional fee applicable within the scope of paid military service will be updated according to the civil servant monthly salary coefficient, effective from July 1, 2026, in accordance with the Conscription Law. It is important for conscripts who wish to apply for paid military service at the current fee amount to complete their application and payment processes by June 30, 2026."

According to the statement, conscripts who cannot complete their transactions by the end of June will be required to pay the new fee, which will be increased by the rate of the raise applied to civil servant salary coefficients starting in July.
