Penalty for seller who manipulated the price of the vehicle they listed! Scandalous message revealed: 'Baby, if you can prove I sold it for that price...'
A vehicle seller was fined 279 thousand 375 liras due to the difference between the listed price and the price offered to the buyer. The Ministry of Trade continues its inspections against such unfair pricing practices.
A seller who listed their vehicle for sale on an advertisement site for 2 million 420 thousand 625 liras set the price at 2 million 700 thousand liras during a private conversation with a buyer. This situation caught the attention of the Ministry of Trade, and an administrative fine was imposed on the seller. In the incident, which caused a stir on social media, it was seen that the seller responded to the buyer, who objected to the price difference, in a mocking tone in a message.

Ministry of Trade Press Consultant Bekir Kaplan stated in a post on the social media platform X that the ministry had detected the difference between the listing price and the marketing price, and that a fine of 279 thousand 375 liras was imposed for the advertisement numbered 1274496634. Kaplan said, "As the Ministry of Trade, we continue our inspections against unfair price increases and misleading practices for consumers on advertisement platforms. We are resolutely implementing all necessary administrative procedures for a fair and competitive market."
