In Malatya, a police officer named Murat B. had an argument with his tenant, who is also a relative, due to a disagreement. Following the incident, police officer Murat B. surrendered to his colleagues, while Malatya Provincial Police Chief Arif Çankal also arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation.
Abdullah Ç., Şeref Ç., and Gülhan B., who were among those transported to hospitals in the city by ambulance, could not be saved.
