President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron. Macron called Erdoğan to congratulate him on Eid al-Fitr and expressed his wishes for the holiday to bring blessings to the Islamic world.
MACRON CONGRATULATES EID AL-FITR
A statement issued by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications confirmed that Erdoğan and Macron held a phone call. The statement included the following remarks:
"Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, held a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron. Calling President Erdoğan, Macron congratulated our President on Eid al-Fitr and expressed his wishes for the holiday to be auspicious for the Islamic world"
