President Erdoğan holds talks with Emir of Qatar Al Thani

The statement made by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications is as follows:

"Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, held a phone conversation with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

The conflict between Israel and Iran, bilateral relations, and regional issues were discussed during the meeting.

During the conversation, President Erdoğan stated that he is conducting intensive diplomatic contacts regarding the conflict process that began following Israel's attack on Iran, that he will continue his efforts to end the spiral of violence, and that Netanyahu has once again shown that he is the greatest threat to the region's security.

Our President stated that Israel's attacks must not be allowed to overshadow the humanitarian crisis and genocide in Gaza, and that developments must not be allowed to encompass Syria as well."
