President Erdoğan holds talks with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
During the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and Spain, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.
President Erdoğan stated during the meeting that meaningful steps were taken at the United Nations General Assembly this year to ensure a two-state solution in Palestine.
Erdoğan expressed that the Israeli government has demonstrated with every action that it has no intention of peace, and that Netanyahu must now be prevented from sabotaging peace.
President Erdoğan stated that Turkey will continue its efforts to stop the Israeli attacks in Gaza and to ensure the uninterrupted entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
The President expressed that he welcomed the sensitivity shown by Prime Minister Sanchez regarding the Sumud aid flotilla and stated that Turkey is following the situation very closely.
