President Erdoğan invites public to 'Silent Scream for Gaza' event
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has invited all women to the "Silent Scream for Gaza" event, which will be organized by the AK Party Women's Branch on Monday, October 6.
In a video message released by the AK Party Women's Branch, President Erdoğan called for the participation of all women in Turkey in the gathering, which will begin at the Üsküdar coastline and be held across all 81 provinces of Turkey. In his message, Erdoğan stated the following:
"We invite all women - not just the AK Party Women's Branch, but all women - to the meeting where our Women's Branch will form a chain on the Üsküdar coastline on Monday to stand in solidarity with Gaza. And I believe that this chain, which women will form together along the entire coastline, will add a unique strength to Gaza. I greet you with my most heartfelt feelings. Thank you, may you be well."
The event, which will be organized under the leadership of AK Party Women's Branch Chairwoman Tuğba Işık Ercan, will be held simultaneously in 81 provinces. Women will join hands to form the world's longest and silent chain.
