President Erdoğan meets with Palestinian President Abbas
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the Presidential Complex. The meeting addressed Israel's attacks on Palestine and regional issues.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that Israel's genocide in Gaza has entered a new phase with the latest ground attacks, that Israel threatens not only Palestine but also regional stability, and that the attack on Qatar is an indicator of this.
President Erdoğan noted that the number of leaders and opinion leaders criticizing Israel is increasing, that efforts to increase international pressure on Israel are continuing, and that Turkey will continue to resolutely bring the Palestinian cause and Israeli aggression to the agenda on every platform.
President Erdoğan stated that Turkey's priority is to ensure an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and to end the humanitarian tragedy in the region, that Israel reveals its stance that undermines peace at every opportunity, and that Turkey will be the voice of Palestine at the United Nations General Assembly.
President Erdoğan stated that the Islamic world must be more united to eliminate the Israeli threat, that the establishment of full political unity in Palestine would also strengthen these efforts, and that Turkey will continue to support these endeavors.
