President Erdoğan speaks with Aliyev by phone
According to a statement by the Directorate of Communications, President Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The statement from the Presidency noted that the bilateral meeting addressed Turkey-Azerbaijan relations, as well as regional and global issues.
During the conversation, President Erdoğan stated that Turkey and Azerbaijan will continue to develop their cooperation in every field with the understanding of "two states, one nation."
President Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey fully supports the establishment of lasting peace in the South Caucasus region and will continue to stand by Azerbaijan at all times.
