President Erdoğan speaks with Lebanese Prime Minister Mikati
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone call with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
According to a statement from the Directorate of Communications, the two leaders discussed Israel's attacks and threats against Lebanon, the Israeli attacks in Gaza, and the rising tension in the region. During the call, President Erdoğan stated that Israeli aggression must be stopped immediately, that Israel's efforts to spread the conflict are extremely dangerous, and that Turkey stands with Lebanon against Israel's aggressive policies. President Erdoğan also noted that the international community and the Islamic world must say "enough is enough" to Israel, which threatens regional and global peace, before it is too late.
