Presidential Chief Advisor Saral accuses CHP with 'doctored' image

Doctored images regarding a visit made by CHP Seyhan Mayor Oya Tekin to the DEM Party Seyhan District Presidency last January were shared on social media.

Oktay Saral, Chief Advisor to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, shared the doctored photo on his X (Twitter) account with the words: “If the CHP, which puts on a show by hanging the T.C. sign, and the vile Seyhan Mayor Oya Tekin are sitting in an office where the photo of the terrorist leader is hung and are 'DEM-ing' (collaborating with DEM), there is no need to say anything else. This is not a picture of a CHP-DEM partnership, but a clear picture of CHP-PKK cooperation.”

THE PHOTO IS DOCTORED

The original of the photo that Saral used on his social media account without verifying its source does not contain a picture of terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The original photo only features the DEM Party flag and a photo of former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş.
