Pressure continues on teacher who exposed irregularities: Another female teacher, another case of mobbing
It is alleged that Assistant Principal Aymelek Gültepe, who works in the Gölbaşı district of Adıyaman, has faced administrative investigations, a change of duty station, and a salary deduction penalty after reporting irregularities in the school administration to official authorities. In a process that previously made headlines when a "disabled toilet" sign was hung on her office door, Gültepe has now been served with a "salary deduction" penalty.

Assistant Principal Aymelek Gültepe, who brought irregularities in the school administration at Adıyaman Gölbaşı Anatolian High School to light, has faced administrative investigations, salary deduction penalties, and exile. The latest point in the scandalous process, which began with a "disabled toilet" sign being hung on Gültepe's office door, is a "salary deduction" penalty. 12punto has obtained the relevant document.

While debates over merit continue in the education community, news coming from the Gölbaşı district of Adıyaman reveals the extent of "systematic mobbing." Assistant Principal Aymelek Gültepe, who reported non-compliant procedures in school assignments, the unauthorized use of the "school principal" title, and irregular practices regarding students to official authorities, is facing what appears to be a chain of "punishments."
ADMINISTRATIVE PRESSURE AND THE "PUNISHMENT" PROCESS
The allegations that 18-year veteran teacher and Assistant Principal Aymelek Gültepe has been subjected to mobbing since she began filing complaints are back on the agenda following newly obtained documents. A letter dated June 10, 2026, signed by the Gölbaşı District National Education Directorate, shows that Gültepe was given a "salary deduction" penalty in accordance with Article 125-C/b of the Civil Servants Law No. 657.
The notification signed by the District Director of National Education cites the allegation that Gültepe "did not go to school without an excuse" for two days in April 2026 as the reason. The penalty notification was served to her on June 18, 2026 (today).
"SIGN" PROVOCATION AND CHARACTER ASSASSINATION
Previously, the incident where the title sign on the door of Aymelek Gültepe—who was exiled to the Besni Mustafa Erdemoğlu Anatolian High School, 40 kilometers away—was removed and replaced with an upside-down "disabled toilet" sign, had become one of the most striking examples of the scandal occurring in educational institutions.
Gültepe is not only struggling with administrative penalties but also with being removed from WhatsApp groups by teachers and the Principal, baseless allegations regarding her private life, and attempts to isolate her based on her sectarian/ethnic identity.
"THE SEARCH FOR JUSTICE CONTINUES"
In the process, which is being closely followed by education unions, Gültepe has applied for legal remedies through her lawyers to cancel the unfair penalties imposed on her.
The criminal complaint filed with the prosecutor's office includes charges such as misconduct in office, forgery of official documents, insult, and slander.
Although it is stated that the school administration describes the allegations as "baseless" and that investigations are ongoing, Aymelek Gültepe's struggle at this point brings the issue of merit and mobbing in education back to the center of public attention.
